I’m Elliott Holdosh, a mechanical design engineer specializing in merging beauty with function. My philosophy is to defy the notion of "good enough” — I thrive on relentless iteration to optimize designs for user experience, failure prevention, and manufacturability.
During my time at Tesla and Battle Motors, I took initiative on innovative design solutions that drove results. For example, while managing the development of a 50+ part center console at Tesla, I designed an original 12V cover for Tesla’s Model 3/Y. My unique approach reduced assembly complexity and offered cost savings of $2.50 per vehicle ($12.5M over five years), while enhancing customers’ luxury experience through less torque.
I’m always sharpening my expertise on new parts, materials, and products. Although I joined Battle Motors with limited soft trim knowledge, I quickly became the team’s subject matter expert and owned the design of related components moving forward.
I excel at collaborating across disciplines, improving workflow efficiency, and upholding uncompromised standards of quality. I also thrive on global teams, forging strong relationships with cross-cultural colleagues and suppliers.
Outside of work, I’m an avid traveler. I’ve backpacked Southeast Asia, road tripped through the Balkans, and traveled to Shanghai and Mexico on business trips.
