My Role
As a CAD draftsman intern at Auto Gear Equipment (AGE), I interpreted VariCAD 2D drawings and made accurate 3D part and assembly models using time-efficient modeling strategies. I primarily focused on modeling transmission cases, transfer cases, and extension components (examples of products I modeled are shown below since CAD is proprietary).
At AGE, I gained over 550 hours of experience with SolidWorks and was introduced to the sand casting process.
